NTV

In 2009, 21Net was selected by NTV (Nuovo Transporto Viaggiatori), Italy’s new high-speed train company set to launch in 2011, to design, deliver, integrate and operate the whole telematics system (Broadband Internet and Multimedia Entertainment) on-board its trains. For this project 21Net works with Alstom to integrate the design of the 21Net system into the 25 AGV trains (Automotrice a Grande Vitesse – successor of the TGV) built for NTV.
In January 2009, 21Net completed a series of highly successful on-board broadband Internet trials with Indian Railways (link), the world’s largest railway operator.The trails took place on the Mumbai to Ahmedabad line onboard the Shatabdi Express.
